As a Despatch forklift driver your main duties will be to ensure smooth running of the despatch area, taking a very hands-on approach. You will be able to adapt to a multitude of requirements as and when required. You will use your own initiative and identify tasks and duties to be completed throughout your working day.

Duties include:
Accurately picking orders

Loading/unloading of trailers

Safely shunting full trailers on/off the loading bays

Ensuring the trailer park remains clean, tidy, and operational at all times.

Ensuring trailer fridges are set to the correct temperature and relevant paperwork is completed

Liaise with Team Leaders so the early departing trailers are accessible for the driver

Working 5 days from 7, overtime available, starting at 5pm until 2am or until the shift is complete
