**Artwork Assistant**

Direct Soccer are market leading online teamwear specialists, established in 1997. We are fast paced family run business that is growing in strength year on year. With established & trusted relationships with the leading sportswear suppliers Nike, Adidas, Joma & Mitre. You will be responsible for dealing with the initial artwork side of personalisation on customers’ orders. This is through assessing the quality of the Logo or Badge sent by customers and making decisions on the next stage, whilst we do not design or draw graphics you need a keen eye for graphic quality. This position would suit someone who has knowledge and experience of using Adobe Illustrator or similar. Please note this is not a Graphic Design role and will not lead to a Design role.

**As an Artwork Assistant, you will be responsible for : -**
- Review and process new orders daily, either by having them digitised or using inhouse software to enhance graphics.
- The administration of orders and Liaising with the customer throughout the process.
- Adjust customer supplied designs when required.
- Working within a tight timescale to turn around a customer order.
- Build good product knowledge to offer best advice to customers on colour and placement.
- Ensuring any special instructions or unusual details are communicated on approved work orders.
- Follow up with customer for approval within given timescales.
- File approved artwork in correct locations ready for cutting.
- Upload artwork to our website
- Assist with uploading images/stock to the website.
- You will also support the cutting area, using the vinyl cutting machines and materials, preparing vinyl as specified by the customer order.
- Any other task deemed necessary within the production area to produce customer orders.
- Housekeeping of work area.

**Skills / Experience Required.**
- Very high level of attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Adobe illustrator & Corel Draw
- Ability to read and understand multiple detailed instructions.
- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft packages and programmes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skill**.**
- Very well organised.
- Ability to work at pace.
- Be part of a team.
- Excellent English grammar and numeracy skills
- Willing to learn new skills and work as part of a team in all areas of production.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,525.00-£20,475.00 per year
