**Role Overview: Floor Layer - Central Belt**
- Laying all types of tiles, vinyls, and thermoplastics latex screening
- Laying sheet vinyl and Lino laying plywood and hardboard to floors
- Familiarity with all types of adhesives
- Vinyl welding, laying fitted and stuck down carpets.
- Laying Carpet tiles.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Previous experience in lifting and laying of floor coverings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.

**Experience**
- Completed an apprenticeship or traineeship approved by SVQ.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Installation of floor coverings.
- Working at height
- Manual Handling
- Asbestos Awareness
- Able to use a variety of tools e.g., electrical tools / hand tools.
- Hold full current driving license.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Full Clean Driving License
- Disclosure Check (Ongoing basis)
