**What you'll do**:
As a Waste Projects Task Controller, you will work both self-sufficiently and as part of the Sewer Renovation team which works within Sustainable Operations and Engineering to resolve issues identified by customers or internal teams.

The team completes more than 7,000 jobs per annum and is also responsible for a large amount of project work, including complex sewer repairs, rising main burst detection, manhole infiltration sealing and event duration monitoring.

Your role will involve delivering effective scheduling to our Western Sewer Renovation teams, arranging traffic management, Streetworks permits and any additional requirements to ensure works are carried out efficiently.

It will require close coordination with highway authorities, and internal and external customers. You'll also work closely with Sewer Rehabilitation and Sewer Solutions teams to carry out works and maximise the use of trenchless technology.

In this role, you will receive on-the-job training and regular coaching and mentoring to ensure you can perform in your role self-sufficiently.

**What you'll need**:
In addition, you will need:

- to be used to working towards key regulatory and performance targets, so it's our effective scheduling is delivered efficiently
- to have an understanding of Streetworks and working within the highway (desirable but not essential)
- excellent organisation and time management skills as you need to effectively manage a variety of low to high-priority situations
- a sound understanding of Microsoft packages, such as Outlook, Excel and SharePoint.
