Pilot Plant Production Technologist

**Your **Responsibilities**

You will:

- Operate the Contract Development and Manufacturing facility, supporting critical utilities including executing commissioning, qualification, manufacturing and cleaning documentation.
- Collaborate within a small team to work on technical transfer, scale up, process design and optimization and manufacturing projects. Your role will be crucial in both the contribution and management of the Autonomous Production Unit (APU) targets, promoting new ways of working and continuous improvement.
- Lead disassembly and reassembly activities required for cleaning, investigations & diagnostics.
- Contribute to the production assessment of new products to be tech transferred to the facility and development of product introduction training.
- Represent the team at meetings, audits, safety visits maintaining and promoting the highest levels of HSE and GMP standards at all times.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for 40 years and is located 15 miles east of Cambridge and 60 miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site is also developing a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.

**Our Requirements**

Experience as an engineer, operator, technologist or technician.

GMP, pharmaceutical or chemical industry experience.

Qualifications in manufacturing operations, chemical or mechanical engineering would be highly desirable.

You must be able to work shifts on rotation, Monday - Friday - 41.25 hours per week. Early shift 6am-14.15pm and late shift 13:45-10pm on a weekly rotation.
