Ecommerce Visual Merchandiser
**Clarks shoes have been defining high street fashion for almost 200 years. Just because our brand has an amazing history, though, that doesn’t mean we’re not looking to the future. In fact, we’re currently going through a digital transformation project that’s all about optimising our business for the online market of tomorrow. And that’s what we’re looking for a new Ecommerce visual Merchandiser - so that we can always provide the best online retail experience for our customers.**
**The role**
This position is part time 28.5 hours per week and involves a hybrid work arrangement, with a requirement to be present at our Street HQ for at least 1/2 days per week. The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Alignment. Optimisation. As Ecommerce Visual Merchandiser, those will be your twin focal points as you create spectacular online customer experiences that boost conversion rates and sale value while keeping returns to a minimum. You’ll work closely with global brand teams and digital merchandisers to make sure that when you deliver the UK and ROI trading plan, you’ll make sure that we’re always taking an aligned, consistent approach to branding on our Ecommerce sites.
Collaboration is key here - working closely with your team and the wider business to make us better at what we do. So, as much as our current transformation is digital, first and foremost, it’s about people and working together to make us a better business in the years ahead.
**About you**
Your commercial focus is something truly special. In fact, you get a kick out seeing conversions and turnover moving in the right direction. That because you know you’ve got the ability to change customer behaviour with the improvements you make to our Ecommerce sites. You’ve done it before in other Ecommerce trading roles where you’ve used Web CMS, sequencing, PIM tools and Ecommerce best practise to drive profitable growth. You’ve got tried and tested methods and you know they work.
When it comes to working within a team, things run a smoothly as the customer journeys you create. Your colleagues value your input - you communicate with confidence and your work is always accurate, even under pressure. And that - along with your drive and determination - is how you’ll contribute so much positivity and productivity to what we do here. It’s how you’ll help build an amazing future for Clarks - and for your career
**About Clarks**
Clarks, based in Somerset, England, has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since its foundation in 1825, when brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts. Sparking revolutions and defining generations, Clarks’ archive of over 22,000 pairs includes the inimitable Desert Boot and Wallabee - and a ground-breaking combination of invention and craftsmanship remains at the heart of what the brand does now. Cutting-edge collaborations with cultural icons and KOLs, taking strides in social change, reimagining legendary silhouettes, and making shoes that move with the world ahead - Clarks is never standing still.
**We love hearing from great people**
