We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Manager to join our Lending team here at Hastings Direct.
The Lending team is a self-contained start up, making this a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Product Manager to help shape and lead our efforts to deliver the best digital customer experience in the consumer lending market.
We are looking for a bright self-starter with relevant digital product management experience including prioritising, designing and delivering against a range of digital initiatives whilst monitoring and optimising the customer experience. You will also be ahighly adaptable individual with excellent communication skills, a natural eye for detail and ability to work seamlessly across a close-knit, fast-paced team.
We operate a hybrid working model and are flexible on location providing you are within a commutable distance to attend either our Bexhill or London office for occasional meetings.
**About the role**:
We are expanding our start-up Personal Loans team as we look to rapidly grow our business, having launched a competitive product on market-leading systems which offers customers guaranteed eligibility and real rates through Price Comparison Websites (PCWs).
**Accountabilities for this role**:

- Together with the Head of Propositions, develop a digital vision and roadmap for the personal lending business
- Prioritise digital projects and initiatives based on business cases driven by customer and commercial impacts
- Lead delivery of potential upcoming initiatives (dependent on business cases):

- Build and implementation of a brand-new digital service portal
- Refresh our web sales journey with a focus on ease of use
- Overhaul our suite of customer communications, and pilot the adoption of new channels (e.g. WhatsApp, webchat)
- Launch a digital cross-sell journey to source business from the 3+ million Hastings insurance customer base
- Assess the day-to-day performance of our digital channels, implementing the right tools and MI for the job. Present updates on digital performance and initiatives at management committees and project coordination meetings
- Continually work to optimise the sales, service and communications journeys and the outcomes they deliver for the business and for our customers
- Work with delivery partners to deliver against requirements on time and cost-efficiently
- Identify technical defects and implement resolutions
- Source customer or market research as necessary to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Dependent on the performance of you and of the business, support hiring additional team to deliver against our digital ambitions
- Ensure that our digital experiences remain compliant with all relevant regulations, maintaining risk awareness in your work at all times
