Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator into its well established Real Estate and Infrastructure Operations Team. The role will include responsibility for the administration of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), including verification of sub-contractors and submission of monthly tax returns. Control of the Central Disbursements Bank account (CDA) ensuring that suspense items are cleared on a regular basis and to arrange for CDA funding when required as well as other tasks within the Accounts Payable and Insurance Team.

**Responsibilities**

**How you'll spend your time....**
- To look after the administration of the Construction Industry Scheme. including verification of sub-contractors and submission of monthly tax returns within the deadlines specified by HMRC and Zurich Group Taxation. To be responsible for monthly CCISTX reconciliation.
- To reconcile and control the Central Disbursements Bank account (CDA) ensuring that suspense items are cleared on a regular basis and to arrange for CDA funding when required.
- To assist in the registration & processing of certain Accounts Payable supplier invoices and purchase orders for the property portfolio managed by Threadneedle Portfolio Services Limited. To be responsible for acquiring supplier bank account details, and for the twice weekly selection of Accounts Payable invoices for payment by BACS or cheque. Daily input of payments via the payment systems.
- To provide cover for the daily input of CHAPS payments & Internal transfer onto Payments Systems.
- To assist the Insurance Administrator when required, to include Premium payments to Insurers and the billing of the insurance charges to tenants, administration of Property/Liability Insurance claims within the procedures set out and assisting with any queries received within the group Insurance Inbox.
- To assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor when required

**Required Qualifications**

**To be successful in this role you will have....**
- Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Strong attention to detail
- Used to working in a high volume data processing environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Clear and concise communicator with experience of working with colleagues at all levels
- Self-starter, results driven and not afraid to challenge the norm
- Client Focus driven with proven experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

**If you also had this, it would be great.**
- Knowledge of the HMRC CIS Scheme would be an advantage.
