Job description
Playworker
Main purpose
- To provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment
- To plan both individual and group opportunities for children ensuring activities are adequately supervised and appropriate to children’s needs and interests.
- To prepare premises with equipment and materials at the start of each session, ensuring all equipment is safe for the children.
- Prepare and serve breakfast and snack following food hygiene regulations.
- To establish good communications with parents regarding their children’s welfare.
- To be aware of Health and Safety procedures.
- To clean equipment as necessary and be responsible for the hygiene of the clubs facilities
- Administering first aid as appropriate and complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
- To take part in regular performance reviews and team meetings
- Carry out all activities and responsibilities in accordance with the Equal opportunities framework
- Work within the policies and procedures of the club.
