Maintenance Worker

Swan Hill house is an elegant, 26 bed, Georgian residential home located in the heart of Shrewsbury town centre. with onsite parking and lunches provided where possible, we pride ourselves on maintaining a balance between family oriented values and a professional atmosphere, where the residents are at the heart of everything we do.

We are currently recruiting for a new handyman, this is not a position that requires any formal training or experience, as this will be provided on the job - however any previous experience would be great

The main duties involve:

- Maintaining the car-park
- Keeping the garden fresh and tidy
- Completing room inspection checks, and rectifying issues quickly,
- Testing the fire alarms and inspecting the fire doors
- Painting and decorating rooms as part of a regular schedule
- Testing the hot water ans recording the temperatures
- completing paperwork and records to evidence these elements have been completed.

As mentioned, all training will be fuly provided, so if you're someone who feels they can work with their hands, and enjoys some basic DIY tasks, please get in touch

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Shrewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
