Wall-lag is a family owned and operated business which has been in operation since 1974, based in Mold, North Wales. Originally providing insulation, the company expanded into manufacturing and installing double glazed doors, windows and conservatories then in 2008 it diversified into renewable technology and Heating installations. In recent years the renewable activity has increased significantly installing Air Source Heat pumps, Solar PV and EV charging stations.
The company has a number of contracts with local housing associations and utility providers to support them in delivering their renewable energy strategies.

**Heating Quality Inspector**

**About The Role**

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage
- Ensuring works are carried out in line with manufacturer’s instructions and industry practice alongside contractual requirements
- Documenting any quality issues and creating a system for recording documentation
- Creating procedure checklists and working alongside other inspectors
- Perform inspections of heating systems to identify repair or replace
- Work with other departments to ensure overall products and process quality is of the highest standard
- Conduct audits when requested
- Other duties as arise
- **Health & Safety**:
Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
- Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately

**Required Criteria**
- Domestic Gas qualification
- 10 years Previous experience within the Heating Industry (social housing is desirable)
- Previous experience within a Quality control position
- Full UK Driving License

- Be capable of working on own initiative
- Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail

- Have ability to take on new skills
- Have a positive approach to continuous improvement processes and techniques

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
