**The role Senior Mobile Compliance officer** (SMCO)** **is required to support the security management of TfL Head Offices, London Transport Museum as well as our clients Building Management team.**

**Principle Duties**:

- The **Senior Mobile Compliance officer**(SMCO)** **is to be employed to deliver a flexible high-end corporate and commercial security operation, with key focus on impeccable customer service and the rigorous execution of core security and soft service processes of a traditional ‘high compliance' security service with a ‘customer service' focus through reception/concierge and helpdesk delivery.

**Role overview**:

- Part of the role of the **SMCO** to carry out audits, training and to maintain site folders while making sure the security and reception teams are compliant with all Mitie and TfL processes and policies connected to the TfL contract.
- Part of the role involves carrying out the duties of a **Senior Mobile Supervisor (SMS)** when required, this will include mandatory site visits to unmanned and manned sites, patrols and checks of the sites and officers, carrying out tests of security and safety systems i.e. Access Control, Intruder, and CCTV. The role will also include responding to Intruder and Fire alarms or incidents of crime or helpdesk related.
- To line manage the mobile operations of the **SMS, **reporting back to the Cluster Manager who oversees all mobile operations.
- To line manage security operations of the scheduler, main control room and helpdesk operations, making sure a high-level service is maintained, while ensuring all systems are correctly managed and operated, so as not to cause any failure of service across the portfolio. This will require working closely with the team and their Cluster Manager.
- In the event of a serious situation the role may require taking over the scheduling duties i.e. if the scheduler needs to leave site and cover cannot be found, or an event happens that requires the scheduler to have immediate support.
- To manage all services connected to the vehicles employed on this contract including FORS. The role will require ensuring the upkeep of the vehicles while making sure the relevant Cluster Manager is fully aware of any problems or concerns.
- To manage all Body Camera operations within the SMS and VCS operations. Making sure the team follow all compliance around CCTV and Body Cameras and that any evidence is downloaded and stored correctly as per the DPA and TfL/Mitie processes.
- To help Cluster Managers to monitor and manage security teams operations across the portfolio of buildings based in and around central London, as part of the TfL Head officer, London Transport Museum, Victoria Coach station and other adhoc projects that Mitie are asked to take on and cover, in such a way as to meet and strive to exceed customer expectations, ensure client contact/reporting is well managed and ensuring staff motivation, morale and performance is always in focus.
- To support the TfL Building Management team when testing fire systems, carrying out fire drills, tests to panic alarms, drills and tests around building lockdown processes.
- To carry out investigations into incidents on sites, as well as poor service or poor conduct of staff. When required to chair disciplinary's (when acting in the Cluster Managers position). This will include attendance to any court proceedings including Employment Tribunal.
