**Job brief**:
We are recruiting for a Solution Architect to join our Architecture service line, working across our digital technology and project management teams to deliver technology solutions for our clients. Our Solution Architects are client facing, taking ownershipof the solution to ensure that business, technical, security and service requirements are correctly integrated into the final solution. Our Solution Architects also support internal development initiatives and new sales opportunities. This position will deliverexciting projects for our customers and help shape the Architecture service line and strategy.

**Role Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for delivering a successful solution to the customer
- Design and develop the requirements for complex IT solutions that meet the client’s needs
- Deliver end-to-end solutions within budget and on time
- Manage stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds
- Ensure adherence to relevant policies and standards
- Extensive knowledge of the available technologies to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Extensive experience of working with multiple stakeholders including end users and CxO level
- Experience in designing complex technology-based solutions within a secure or regulated environment.

- Must have or be eligible for and willing to undergo UK Government security vetting (at least to Security Clearance level)
- Willingness to travel to client sites in the Southwest (Occasional)

**Desirable**:

- A background in DevOps/IT Infrastructure or Cloud Computing
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
- Experience working in the Defence, Nuclear or the Public Sector industries
- Solution architect qualifications (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate, BizzDesign or others)
