A world-renowned business who specialises in the renewables sector is now embarking on a new chapter of development. After going through an exciting restructure, this business in now in an excellent position to capitalise on the market with the acquisitionof key projects. They are working towards doubling their turnover in the next year with further growth forecasted. They are looking for a Quality Technician to look at quality control processes and ensuring product/service compliance with project and clientspecification.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Liaise with Quality Manager, workshop, Project Managers, Third party Inspection authorities, Subcontractors.
- Carry out shop floor audits & liaise with all internal departments as and when necessary.
- Carry out random & planned inspections of materials, manufacture/installation processes in accordance with company and or client, third party procedures and specifications.
- Collate and submit QA documentation for quality Dossiers.
- Initiate and arrange third party NDT/DT, PWHT, etc.
- Verification of materials and accompanying certification.
- Completing Documentation/forms for QA dossiers.
- Completing weld maps Traceability and NDT/PWHT request forms.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years in a similar Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or Welding Inspecting role
- Relevant qualifications - PCN Level II in DPT & MPI & CSWIP 3.1 is a must
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Fabrication knowledge (Pressure vessels, structural and piping)
- Open to travelling and staying away for project work

Benefits Package:

- A basic rate of £18 per hour
- Company pension scheme - 5% employee contribution
- Additional rates for site project work - £22 per hour
