**Salary**: £30k - £45k

It’s 2023, you’ve made some personal commitments to progress your technical skills and you’ve decided you need a change of environment. You’ve got an appetite to work on technically challenging projects and you’re looking for a place where you feel valued,somewhere where your opinions are appreciated.

The company I’m recruiting for have been around for over 50 years and they have exceeded their company targets even during the worst of the Covid pandemic, growing 25% year on year. Due to this growth (and various acquisitions of smaller brands within thesame domain) they have embarked on growing their high-performing tech team which is the backbone of their business.

The tech team consists of around 50 (but will soon be 60) with departments including SAP, technical support, mobile development and BAU dev teams. However, the web team falls outside any of the above mentioned departments. They are responsible for theirflagship product which brings in a revenue of around £60 million a year. This team is currently made up of a technical architect, senior developer, automation tester and Scrum Master / BA.

I’m looking for someone who is passionate about development and is always keen to stay ahead of the curve. It doesn’t matter if you are stronger in JavaScript or C#, what is relevant here is that you’ll be working with both (along with RESTful web services,SQL Server and CSS). As it’s a small web team, you need to have a ‘can do attitude’ as they work in an agile environment with fortnightly sprints.
