**Job Summary**

**About the role**

The purpose of this role is to provide strong controls over the accounts receivable function of the business and ensure that all debts are settled on a timely basis.

Your daily tasks will consist of the following components:

- Distribution of client sales invoice.
- Play a key role in collection of monies relating to 2 group companies.
- In collaboration with different departments within the business, work to resolve client queries in a timely manner.
- Assist with customer account reconciliations
- Contacting clients to follow up on overdue invoices and proactively follow resolve any issues
- Reporting aged debt to Finance Manager and inform early of potential debtors problems
- Update Sage 50 records ensuring accuracy of client data
- Assist with processing of staff expenses
- Holiday cover for other finance roles

Do you suit the job description?
- Strong credit control experience, preferably in roles involving project based work
- The ability to deliver to tight timescales and deadlines consistently
- Excellent day to day planning and organisational skills
- Dynamism, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results oriented
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and build interpersonal relations at all levels of the business
- The ability to engage and positively influence colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
