Our care home is a luxury, Victorian building, based in the heart of Ayr. We currently accommodate 29 residents and are very proud of our first-class ratings, backed up with our consistent, Very Good Care Inspectorate reports.

Our aim is to provide high quality care for our residents, peace of mind for their families and ensuring our home remains great place to work.

As Activities Coordinator, you will work closely with the Home Manager to plan and implement activities appropriate to the residents needs and requests.

**Activities Coordinator Contract**

10.42 per hour

24 hours per week (Shifts are variable dependant on events and will include weekend working)

Company pension

5.6 weeks annual leave

Uniform provided

Onsite parking

PVG paid

Our Activities Co-Ordinators help our residents to socialise within the Care home and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes. You will be responsible for planning and initiating monthly rolling/individual programmes and encourage residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies.

You will also encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in the care homes activities. All of which helps to create a positive atmosphere.

You will also need to maintain full and accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documents.

**As an Activities Coordinator you will require the following experience and skills**:
Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events/activities.

Friendly, creative, and confident.

Genuine interest in working with the elderly.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Confident team player.

Ability to work on own initiative.
