Personal Assistant, £10.50 per hour day shift/ £9.50 sleeping night shift required to assist a young man with Physical and Learning Disabilities living in East Kilbride. He is a wheelchair user, non verbal and needs help with all aspects of daily living. He has a happy and sociable personality, no challenging behaviour. Driver essential and Mobility car is available, you must have a clean licence.

One full time 35 hours and One part time post 17 hours available

You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within his home, at day centre and in the community.

Your duties would involve administering medication, feeding, personal care, social needs and some housework.

Swimming is a favourite activity so you must be able to take him swimming. Also likes adapted sports e.g. skiing, music, sensory experiences and socialising.

Experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided. The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.

Combination of the following shifts including some weekends are:
Day Shift 8.30am to 5pm

Back Shift 4.30pm to 10.30pm

Sleeping Night Shift 10pm to 9am
