Nursery Cook

We are looking for a Nursery Cook to join our tea. Demonstrating flexibility, able to work independently and understand the nutritional needs of children. They need to have good organisation skills, good communication, as well as high standard of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and appearance.
- 10 hours over 5 Days a week Monday - Friday 10:30am-12:30pm.
- An ability to organise a fortnightly menu and to prepare an online monthly shop to a budget.
- You will require an enhanced DBS check to be carried out by the nursery

**Key Responsibilities** - The cook needs to organise, prepare, and cook a healthy, balanced diet for children in accordance with the nursery menus. The Cook will take into daily consideration those children who have special dietary requirements and prepare a suitable alternative. They will also be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen by ensuring high standards of hygiene and that health and safety is always maintained in the kitchen.

Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
