Goods in / Stores person

**Accountable to**

Maintenance Manager

**Role**

As Goods in / stores person you will have responsibility for the acceptance and electronic receipt of incoming deliveries, monitoring inventory levels along side planning preventative maintenance and development project activities through computerised maintenance management software (CMMS)

Experience in a similar role would be preferential, but training will be given, a current FLT license is required for the role but training will be provided if you do not currently hold a license.

**Mandatory Responsibilities**
- Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Monitor and update inventory database records
- Accept, check quantities and electronic receipting of incoming deliveries
- Maintain purchasing documentation in a controlled & traceable manner
- Planning preventative and breakdown repair activities to maintain plant performance / production
- Effective utilisation and support of business systems such as (CMMS; Inventory management & procurement)
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping standards within all stock locations
- Ensure high quality, regular feedback to relevant personnel

- Efficient stock control and organisation of documentation.
- Development of skills and competence in line with the training plan.
- Housekeeping of parts storage and office areas

- Documentation control & auditing / stock control principles

- Good level of numeracy and literacy.
- FLT license (Training provided if not currently a license holder)
