Senior Inspector

The Industrial Work Solutions are currently working with one of the leading engineering and manufacturing companies to recruit a Senior Inspector.

**The Role.**
- To provide Goods Inwards and in-process quality control services and documentation in accordance with processes and procedures
- To provide inspection support at 2 sites
- To provide guidance, mentoring and training
- To act in a supervisory role
- To ensure our paperwork audit trail is robust
- Goods inwards inspection, incl Faro-arm
- Patrol inspection / in process inspection
- Inspection of assemblies
- Inspection of company equipment
- Management and maintenance of Inspection tools & calibration schedule
- Assessment & implementation of internal QC regimes and best practices
- Assessment & implementation of supplier QC regimes and best practices
- Subcontractor / Supplier liaison, visits and audits
- Internal audits
- Manage NDT by 3rd Parties
- Document management; NCR’s, good inwards paperwork, material certification etc
- Product traceability and labelling
- Working to Planning & Project schedules and timelines
- Management of working environment: cleanliness, organisation etc
- To achieve competence in the Laboratory testing regimes by internal training
- Any other duty which the company deems reasonable & acceptable

**The Successful Applicant**
- Ability to read engineering drawings and generate reports
- Hand-held measuring instruments and Faro Arm
- Computer literate and good IT skills
- Familiar with the use of ISO 9001 documentation and processes
- Interaction and management of suppliers
- Several years’ experience an engineering, project-based Quality environment
- Fork Lift Truck driver
- Faro Arm
- IT literate
- Must be self confident, enthusiastic, smart and personable individual
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player, with the ability to work on own initiative
- Team player
- Accurate, diligent whilst meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Organisation skills
- Driving licence
