Trade Counter Assistant

**Job description**

A full-time vacancy has arisen at Plumbworkz for an enthusiastic and motivated full time Plumbing and Heating Trade Counter Sales Advisor at our Rhuddlan Branch. This is an exciting and challenging role for a rapidly expanding business. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times.

**The role.**
- Always Serving our customers politely and professionally.
- Providing accurate and professional advice on products including specification, pricing and -availability.
- Generating new customers and sales leads.
- Responding to sales enquiries and converting to new orders.
- Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationship.
- Contacting suppliers and ensuring smooth deliveries, following company procedures checking -incoming goods against supplier’s delivery notes.
- Storing stock safely and ensuring that the store is kept tidy and well presented.
- Preparing customer orders and deliveries.

**Qualifications and skills.**
- You will need to be from a merchant or trade background and have existing knowledge of plumbing and heating or be willing and have the attitude to learn.
- You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to ensure a high standard of customer care.
- We are looking for someone who is an excellent team player but also able to work on their own initiative.
- You will need to be:
Enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated with a can do attitude.
- Flexible and able to work well and stay calm under pressure.
- You will have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
- Working hours are Monday-Friday 7.30am to 17.00pm, sat(alternate) 08.00am to 12.00pm
- Full UK Driving license is required.

**Salary**: £10,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
