**Overview**:
We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help us in this sociable role which supports the hospice's catering team to provide a professional hospitality service in the Café to our patients, visitors, employees and volunteers.

As a Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute your time and skills to support our organisation's mission and make a positive impact in the community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Setting up and closing down.
- Cleaning tables, washing crockery and cutlery (in dishwasher).
- Restocking fridge and counter supplies.
- Taking orders for food and drinks.
- Preparing drinks
- Assisting customers with their food choices

**Requirements**:

- Ability to co-ordinate, prioritise and organise tasks
- Polite and friendly with great customer service orientation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Passion for contributing to a cause or community initiative
