**We are currently looking for a Press Officer to join our Press team on a full time permanent basis.**

The Press team promotes and advocates for the Southbank Centre’s extensive and diverse artistic programme, and our work supporting emerging artists, education and arts & wellbeing activities. We regularly engage with journalists and influencers inviting them to key events and sharing updates on our activities and impact.

**Role Objectives**
- To assist in the smooth running of the press office by providing efficient and effective support for the press team.
- Work flexibly as part of the Communications team to deliver positive media coverage for the Southbank Centre.
- Successfully publicise the Southbank Centre’s artistic programme working across all artforms (visual art, music, literature, spoken word, performance, dance and comedy) and relevant festivals and projects as required.
- Ensure a ‘digital first’ approach to all communications planning and work closely with the digital and marketing teams to plan and deliver content.
