**Overview**:
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Ship Control Instructor on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Clyde depot.
**Purpose of the role**:
As a Ship Control Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll deliver Astute Class ship control training to current and next generation of Submarine professionals.
**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Marking of Exams and Course Work as required.
- Invigilation of exams.
- Course Preparation, including the development of blended learning materials/interactive online content.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Comprehensive knowledge and recent experience of operating Astute class Ship Control systems, as a qualified Ship Control Officer of the Watch.
- Experience of Submarine Control Room management.
- Qualification as an Operations or Weapons Engineering Warrant Officer/Senior Rating.
- You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving ‘Security Check’ (SC) clearance.
