Plumber/bathroom Fitter

BSM Contracts are currently hiring a Plumber / Bathroom fitter to join the team. We specialise in commercial & residential renovations and developments. Based in the Scottish Borders, we cover the Scottish central belt down to Cumbria & Northumberland.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry and bathroom fit outs
- Must have Gas Safe qualification
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Good knowledge of different materials and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- A full UK driving license
- DBS check

Key Tasks:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Carry out gas-related tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines and appliances
- Conduct gas safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
- Bathroom fit outs - Install and connect fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs & wet wall panels
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, proper functioning, and compliance with regulations
- Snagging & warranty work
- Ensure the proper care and security of all BSM Contracts transportation, equipment, and assets to maintain their optimal condition and prevent any damage or loss.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

- Plumbing / Bathroom Fit out / Gas: 5 years (required)

- DBS Check (preferred)

- Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
- Gas Safe qualification (required)
