Are you a skilled and safety-conscious individual with a passion for traffic management? Our client is a leading construction company known for its commitment to excellence, is seeking a diligent and experienced Traffic Marshall to join our team. As a Traffic Marshall, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and pedestrians in and around our construction sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely direct and control the movement of construction site vehicles, including trucks, equipment, and deliveries, in adherence to established traffic management plans.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager and other team members to maintain a smooth traffic flow around the construction site, minimising disruption to the public and ensuring the safety of all on-site personnel and visitors.
- Implement necessary traffic control measures, such as temporary road signs, barriers, and cones, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage pedestrian movement and provide clear instructions to site visitors to ensure their safety.
- Communicate effectively with construction vehicle operators and site personnel using hand signals, two-way radios, or other appropriate communication devices.
- Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety hazards to the Site Manager immediately, and participate in the development of strategies to improve overall traffic safety.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant traffic management regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Traffic Marshall or in a related traffic control role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of traffic management regulations, safety protocols, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to effectively communicate and direct others using hand signals, radios, or other means of communication.
- Excellent situational awareness and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid traffic marshal certification or any relevant traffic management qualifications (if applicable to the location).
- A positive and proactive attitude towards safety and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
