Hgv Technician

My client is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician to join the team in Johnstone, Scotland.

For over 30 years my client has been a leading contractor in the Industrial and Environmental Services sector and the company has matured rapidly since its inception and now carries out a wide range of services to their client base.

**The Role**:
Your responsibilities will be to ensure that all vehicles are maintained to a high standard (DVSA & Company), and ready to respond to client's needs.

**Duties**:

- Preparing HGVs for MOT
- Conducting PFM and Vehicle Services
- Routine Vehicle Maintenance
- Conducting General Vehicle Inspections
- Completion of all necessary documentation in line with legal requirements and company policy and procedures
- Planned Project work such as refurbishment of existing equipment and building of replacement specialist equipment vehicles
- Completing all of the above to a high standard in line with DVSA guidelines while adhering to company standard operating procedures.

**Required Qualifications**:

- NVQ HGV Mechanics L3

**Required Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years working on HGV & LGV Vehicles
