Live-in Care Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Live-in Carer to join our team in the Exeter area. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated individual to make a positive impact in someone's life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide essential care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
- Support elderly individuals with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Assist with mobility, including using walking aids and providing support where necessary.
- Build trust and rapport with clients through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understand and address the specific needs and concerns of elderly individuals.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients with anxiety or other mental health concerns.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
- Promote independence and encourage clients to participate in daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in live-in care, with a focus on supporting elderly individuals.
- Possession of a valid driving license and access to a car.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Caring and compassionate nature.
- Flexibility to provide continuous care on a rotational basis.
- Ability to understand and address the specific needs and concerns of clients.
- Knowledge of safe manual handling and infection control practices.

**Salary**: £840.00 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
