AirX Jet Support Limited is a UK registered EASA Part-145 MRO maintaining the fleet of our parent company AirX. We are well versed in the maintenance requirement for aircraft owners and operators. Our approach to all maintenance tasks is underpinned by engineering experience. We aim to ensure that aircraft are returned to service on schedule and the work is finished to the highest standard. AXJS supplies maintenance and related services to AirX and third-party operator aircraft based out of Diamond Hangar at Stansted Airport.
**ROLE**
Supports the day-to-day operations for a professional aircraft detailing services company The Aircraft Detailer will perform all exterior and interior cleaning of aircraft. The role of this position is to maintain the appearance of the aircraft's interior and exterior according to protocols and standards and to ensure that the stock levels are always sufficient both onboard & within the stock room.

**Reports to: Aircraft Detailing & Stock Support Manager**

**Location: Diamond Hangar, Stansted**

**Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off shift work (12 hour shifts / varied times)**

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To ensure aircraft are detailed to the AirX Jet Support’s highest standard.
- To complete all interior & exterior cleaning requirements to the finest level meeting the client’s satisfaction
- To complete a full exterior wash of the aircraft airframe and polishing of brightwork.
- To preserve and maintain the interior and exterior condition of an aircraft.
- Checking stock levels regularly.
- Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock.
- Updating stock information on the computer system.
- Comparing items received against items ordered.
- Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining records of pricing, purchases, and other relevant information.
- Ordering and restocking as well as collecting / supplying stock for incoming and outgoing aircraft.
- Driving and delivery of stock items to the aircraft, across the UK, including Europe out of London, Stansted.
- Liaising with Cabin Services department to prepare for any upcoming flight.
- Supporting concierge team by shopping and gift wrapping and executing special requests for passengers.
- The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation._

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

You will:

- Have a valid driver’s license for onsite cleaning at various airports to cover mobile detailing & stock deliveries (using a Company vehicle).
- Coordinate with the rest of the team to accomplish the daily workload allocated.
- Demonstrate careful and competent ability upon working with chemical-based cleaners.
- Willing to work with aviation-approved cleaning solutions to ensure that no damage is done to the aircraft exterior and interior (full training will be provided).
- Strong work ethic, Positive attitude, and ability to work safely within an engineering/ Airport hangar.
- Flexible with working hours covered on their 4 ON 4 OFF shift to cover the aircraft’s schedule.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Customer service skills.
- Organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Previous experience in valeting & working with stock would be beneficial but not essential.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
