Gardener/groundsperson

Duties:

- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or repairs needed
- Complete tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
- Maintain and repair garden and landscape areas
- Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering schedules
- Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, trimming, and weeding
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist with growing and maintaining plants in gardens or greenhouses

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques and procedures
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Wadhurst: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
