**Dog Walker & Pet Sitter Position - Self Employed**

**What we ask that you are able to do**:

- Walking Dogs in various weather conditions.
- Conducting consultations with new clients and ensuring client information forms are completed prior to your first dog walk.
- Regularly reporting information specifying which dogs were walked, the duration of the walks, and if there were any unusual or abnormal observations.
- Safely transporting dogs to and from their homes.
- Picking up and disposing of pet waste.
- Ensuring that all dogs have fresh water and food as required.
- Be Flexible within reason of having to Rescheduling suitable times to walk dogs due to Weather

Conditions.
- Taking all necessary precautions to ensure that the dogs and those around them are safe.
- Providing regular updates to clients, which includes sharing photos and responding to Client Group

Messages within a timely manner
- Notifying owners if dogs become sick or injured before, during, or after walks.
- Taking Photos suitable to be posted on our Social Media Pages
- Be able to send across Blurbs needed for Social Media each day by 5pm.
- To be confident, trustworthy and reliable when Pet Sitting in Owners homes. You must be able to leave the house in a Clean and Acceptable state at the end of a Pet Sit. You will be representing JDKS at all times during a Pet sit, so we ask you are mindful of this and follow the policies provided.

**What we Require**:

- DBS Check
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Proven experience working with dogs.
- To understand that we only work Positive Based & No Negative behaviours will be accepted
- To understand that No training or Training advice is to be given
- Sound understanding of dog behavior.
- Flexibility & Understanding that set hours cannot be guaranteed
- The ability to walk for long periods of time.
- Patient, punctual, and reliable.
- Trustworthy and responsible.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 15 per week
