RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our policing client based in Leek Wootton, Warwickshire for an End Use Computer Manager to support the design, planning and execution of performance, investigation and development work centred around End User Computing& Modern Device Management.

This is a full time, fixed term contract for 2 years and offers a salary of £49,866.

**Main Duties**:

- Manage all aspects End User Compute (EUC) or cloud based Modern Device Management function in conjunction with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to deliver a high level of service across multiple locations, providing technical expertise, within agreedSLA’s.
- Manage the EUC strategy and renewal programme to include lifecycle management for circa 2000+ users.
- Ensure that all service support documentation meets ITILv4 quality and document control is in place with ongoing effective engagement with the Incident, Change, Problem and Request management areas.
- Responsible for supporting and developing the managed endpoint environments, currently based on Windows 10 and managed via Microsoft Intune, aligned to national policing blueprint.
- Support annual security audits and ensure they meet and exceed the requirements for Cyber Essentials Plus, CHECK and specific policing requirements.
- Comfortable working at a technical level, writing PowerShell scripts, familiar with app packaging and deployments comfortable working with Azure Active directory, Modern Device Management, Hardware and Software builds as well as patching environments.
- Ensures the team positively interacts with and supports end users where required.
- Work closely with other internal teams to aid the development of new programmes as well as improving current programmes.
- Ensure effective prioritisation and optimisation of current work in order to best achieve agreed business Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s).
- Contribute to the effective service management of related suppliers, linking with information and data security in providing assurance support.
- Build and maintain relationships with the Managed Service Provider and other suppliers.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.

**Essential Requirements**:

- ITIL V4 Foundation or higher.
- Knowledge of Microsoft MEMCM (SCCM) and/or Microsoft Intune and/or Azure Virtual Desktop, Application packaging, Microsoft Azure AD and Office 365, Management of Microsoft Group Policies and Active Directory and Scripting (Powershell).
- Experience in Cloud PaaS, IaaS in providers like Azure & AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Demand & Capacity Management alongside Supplier Management experience.
- Authoring of Technical Design documents and Service artefacts.
- Awareness of Cyber Security concepts.
- Able to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience of users and stakeholders. Providing thought leadership and future roadmap of End User devices and user experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
