Hampshire’s Library Service needs enthusiastic
- **Library Team Assistants** to join our busy and flexible teams. Your role will be to provide a welcoming environment for all, promote our services and facilities, plan and deliver activities for children and adults, assist with the management of stock, as well as carrying out a wide range of
- **administrative **duties.
- You’ll be providing an excellent customer experience to everyone who visits our libraries and encouraging people to read a range of authors and book titles, download our apps to access eMagazines and eBooks /eAudiobooks and account options. You will take part in special promotions for adults and children, sign up for courses and events and using our IT facilities.
- You will have a good general education combined with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a good standard of IT skills. You will embrace flexible working and be able to use your own initiative when required.
- You will be required to travel between a small ‘cluster’ of libraries, so you will need to fulfil specific travel requirements which will be outlined at interview.
- A full induction and training programme will be provided and continued personal development is encouraged.
