Langshott Primary School is a Good school, situated near the Langshott estate in Horley. Our school is happy and nuturing we have high expectations of our pupils and staff. Relationships between staff and pupils are strong and thus the pupils want to do well and are well behaved. The buildings are well maintained and look bright and inviting. We have lovely grounds including a Forest School area.

**Overview**:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker to join our team. As caretaker you will play an important part in the smooth and efficient running of our wonderful school, where staff are friendly and the pupils well behaved. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide a security and caretaking service to the school to minimise risks to the health and safety of those using the school site and to limit the possibility of damage to the school premises and resources.

Hours - 20 a week 6.45 - 9.45am and 5 to 6pm daily to open and close the school. Morning shift only will be considered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability anf honesty to ensure the seurity of our site.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform lifting, carrying, fixing and cleaning tasks throughout the day.
- Good communication skills to interact with pupils, staff, parents and visitors in a friendly manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
