A British multinational automotive distribution company is recruiting a Group Reporting Accountant to join their office based in central London

As Group Reporting Accountant you will consolidate group profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow information. Additionally, you will be able to report goodwill, impairments, a range of benefits. Finally, you will produce financial statements and relevantsupport for preliminary and interim announcements.

Main Responsibilities:

- Financial reporting:

- Manage a range of procedures including, but not limited to, monthly close, intercompany reconciliations, reviews of market data
- Review overall accuracy of submissions and produce flash reports
- Act as primary point of contact for markets in relation to submission of monthly results into the Group financial reporting system, working with them to improve the accuracy, quality, and speed of submissions
- Financial Accounting:

- Arrange legal entity financial statements for relevant companies
- Report activities and act as a primary point of contact with auditors for UK-based intermediate holding companies
- Provide support to other Group departments (e.g. Tax, Treasury and Pensions) particularly in relation to financial information relevant to the intermediate holding companies.
- Perform other duties, as appropriate.

Main requirements:

- Fully qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent 0-2 years PQE
- Good knowledge of financial accounting and reporting processes with ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good understanding of IFRS reporting requirements
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP BPC preferred but not essential
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of the organisation.
