Hgv Driver

We are currently seeking a skilled Lorry Driver to join our team, operating an 8-wheel plant lorry to transport essential construction machinery across the South East region.

**Job Summary**: As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting various construction equipment, including excavators, dumpers, and other machinery, to various sites. When not on the road, you will support our workshop team with additional tasks in our yard.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Transport construction machinery safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Assist in loading and unloading equipment at project sites.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on the lorry and report any issues.
- Provide support in the workshop and carry out yard duties as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all transport laws and regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Valid Class 2 Driver’s License.
- Current CPC and Tachograph card.
- Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
