Full training will be given to the successful applicant, with ongoing mentoring from an experienced manager as well as opportunities to develop your career through our Learning & Development team.

Responsibilities include:

- To engage with Bradford College students, supporting them in their work experience journey; this will enable the student(s) to enhance their employability skills
- To source and develop new work experience and industry placement opportunities in the Construction and Engineering sectors
- Build strong, robust business relationships utilising all available resources to support the diverse placement activities within the department
- Develop a robust client database to fulfil the needs of the department to support students with meaningful and relevant work experience opportunities
- To promote and maximize student involvement and engagement
- To assess student’s skills and create personalised career development plans to support further development, monitoring progress at regular intervals.
- Liaise with curriculum teams and employers to set SMART objectives

Education & Training
- GCSE A*- C or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Maths or equivalent. (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A - C) or prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale.
- GCSE A*- C or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in English or equivalent. (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A - C) or prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale.

Experience
- Successful experience of working with 16-18 students on a 1:1 and/or group basis to achieve their career goals
