Lettings Negotiator

Fantastic career opportunity. Our client is an industry leading, upmarket firm of Estate and Letting Agents, and they are looking for an experienced Lettings & property management person to join their fantastic firm in Crediton with a basic salary in the region of £20,000 (on target earnings £25,000) and only one Saturday morning a month.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Register new prospective tenants and book appointments
- To conduct viewings of current and proposed properties including direct interaction with tenants and landlords
- Conducting administrative tasks involved in the running of the letting business, which briefly include tenant referencing, production of draft tenancy agreements, checking legally required documentation and related contractual paperwork
- Take calls about and organise repairs and maintenance
- Tenancy renewals
- General property management
- Using IT systems to ensure data is captured and used in a manner to ensure excellent recording and productivity with the office
- Well-presented and excellent communication and written skills
- Ideally some lettings and property management experience
- Organised with a good attention to detail
- Knowledge of the current lettings and property management legislation
- Honest and trustworthy
- Dedicated to delivering first class customer service

Hours of work are 8.45 - 5.15pm Monday to Friday and one in four Saturdays 9am to 1pm
