An excellent opportunity to join a manufacturing business, based on the outskirts of Scarborough, as a Finance Assistant. Salary is circa £25,000 depending on experience, alongside generous holiday allowance of 32 days (inclusive of bank holidays), attractive working hours, with an early finish on a Friday and study support.

The successful individual will work closely with the Financial Controller and will be supporting with the purchase and sales ledger, as well as other transactional duties.

Key responsibilities for the successful Finance Assistant will include:

- Accounts receivable and accounts payable duties
- Processing banking
- Payroll
- Processing credit
- Control payments
- Processing purchase orders
- Petty cash
- Ad hoc reporting and other duties as required

To be successful in this Finance Assistant role you will ideally:

- Have strong accountancy software skills such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks
- Have previous experience in a similar finance-based role
- Be studying or hold a accountancy qualification, such as your AAT or have relevant experience

This role is based on the outskirts of Scarborough and is easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Filey, Bridlington, Malton, Sherburn or further. Car parking is also on site. This role is also accessible via train.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
