We are currently recruiting for an exciting role as a Head of Estate and Compliance based in the Education Sector. As Head of Estate and Compliance you will lead the strategic management of all Facilities Management functions to maintain all service standardswithin the guidelines and budgetary constraints.
Your duties & responsibilities will include:

- Ensure the delivery of Facilities Management services to a high standard. Identifying opportunities that will continuously improve all aspects of operations.
- Supervise caretaking staff in all aspects of their roles and review responsibilities and rota's to ensure effective practice and high standards.
- Work across the business to support all aspects of operational service delivery.
- Organise and chair weekly operations meetings and ensure all objectives and requirements are clearly communicated across the team
- To advise senior leadership team in the allocation of space and office accommodation within the building.
- Take responsibility for external health, safety and fire risk inspections and for specialist audits and testing.
- Undertake the day-to-day management of designated staff.
Experience/Skills required for this role:

- Must have estate management experience and be able to liaise with the SLT for budgeting.
- A degree (or equivalent) in, for example, construction, surveying, engineering, business, landscaping or a related discipline e.g. RICS, ARIBA, RICE
- Further professional qualifications (e.g. health and Safety).
- Membership of a relevant Professional Institution e.g. ICE, CIOB or ILM
- Ability to lead strategically.
- Experience managing budgets
