**Merck Summer Student Opportunity**

We have a fantastic opportunity for students join our Merck Contract Testing Services business in the UK for 3 months over the summer. Students will work with Merck teams across different parts of the business, gaining meaningful industry experience.

Summer students will get the opportunity to undertake meaningful work whilst collaborating with Merck colleagues across various departments. The students will learn on the job, developing practical skills and personal competencies, building relationships with colleagues across our business.

**Your Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity within our Microbiology team at our Glasgow site for a Student Intern to support a wide variety of routine tasks. Responsibilities involve working within our laboratories to ensure they are maintained to the required standard, including housekeeping, preparation of reagents, stock control, Environmental Monitoring and general equipment maintenance.

- Data entry experience (paper and PC based) would be desirable
- You are strongly focused on quality and safety
- You have strong planning and organisational skills
