Production Operative

**Production Operative**

Location: Rainham, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

**Salary**: Circa £25,000 per annum, however your pay is WEEKLY

Benefits: 20days + BH, this increases with your service up to 30days.

We are working with a busy manufacturing company who are looking for a Production Operative and expanding their current team. You will receive on the job training for this specialist industry. This could be a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience and want to development and grow with a company in a permanent job now.

Role:

- Preparing cardboard cartons and attaching labels.
- Packing pallets/boxes to the required standards.
- Moving cartons and bulk bins to and from the relevant machines.
- Completing production sheet paperwork.
- Maintenance of good housekeeping practices within various areas of the factory.
- Re-packing bulk quantities.
- Manufacturing various light goods products.
- PPE to be worn at all times on site.

Person:

- Background in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Must be pro-active and able to multi-task within a busy working environment.
- Be logical and numerate.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Enjoy achieving high quality standard & strive to be efficient & productive.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and enthusiasm are essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines.
- Have excellent communication skills with key Departments, Managers and Supervisors.
- Have an excellent level of spoken & written English.
- Ability to adapt to varied tasks.
- Good communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
