Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced SEND TA looking for your next part-time Teaching Assistant role? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a passionate and empathetic TA to work with a child in Early Years in one of our lovely schools in Stockport.

Position: Part-time, starting ASAP, and continuing for the rest of the academic year.

Hours: 9AM - 12:20PM, Monday - Friday. (16.5 hours / week)

You would be working with a child on a 2:1 basis in Early Years. The pupil is non-verbal, and is awaiting a diagnosis of autism. Alongside another staff member, you would be supporting the development of her speech and language needs, as well as ensuringshe is learning through play and in accordance with the EYFS curriculum.

Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £11 - 13 per hour.

Your duties might include:

- Supporting and managing a pupil with autistic traits, mainly on a 1:1 basis
- Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
- Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn
