Hunter Savage is currently partnering with this leading Scottish headquartered UK firm to recruit a property and infrastructure disputes solicitor into their leading Band 1 rated real estates disputes team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial litigation solicitor with some previous property litigation experience or a property litigation solicitor who is keen to broaden their experience and get some experience and exposure to construction litigation matters. The role can be based in their Edinburgh or Glasgow office and they fully support hybrid working.

**The Role**

Working closely with the property team the property disputes solicitor will work with an impressive client base and advise on a broad range of real estate litigation matters to include complex property contract disputes, landlord & tenant issues including dilapidation claims, title issues and boundary disputes, servitudes and rights of way. You will get the opportunity to work across a range of dispute resolution forums including the Court of Session, Sheriff Court, Lands tribunal, the Scottish land court and the first tier tribunal. You will also work with clients across a range of alternative dispute resolution in particular mediation and expert determination.

The Person

You will meet the following criteria
- Qualified Solicitor - 4 to 8 years PQE
- PQE gained either within a broader commercial litigation practice with some previous property disputes experience or a pure property litigation team
- Very strong communication skills with excellent client management ability
- Able to work effectively as part of a cohesive team
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong technical legal drafting skills
