**English Curriculum Lead**:

We are seeking a qualified secondary school Lead Practitioner of English to join our mission-focussed team. Our volunteer tutors come from a range of backgrounds and in order to ensure quality and impact for disadvantaged pupils, we provide the curriculum resources for both online and in person tutoring sessions. This includes primary (KS2) and secondary (KS4) materials but we are specifically looking for an individual with secondary school teaching experience. For the past eight years we’ve used external consultants to design and develop these materials and we are now moving this function into our staff team. This role will sit within the Curriculum & Training Team, currently made up of four individuals. This team plays a vital role in ensuring tutor training, development, quality assurance and tutoring curriculum is delivered at an excellent standard.

**Place of work**:This role can be based anywhere in England & Wales. Travel to the London office will be required from time to time, for which travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with our expense policy.

**Contract and working hours**: Permanent, 22.5 hours per week spread over 3-5 days (negotiable) term time only

**Salary**: £23,407 for term time only, 22.5 hours a week

**Start date**:15 days equivalent of consultancy to be completed before 11th August with an official start date of the 2nd September 2023
