Warehouse Worker

We are a busy flooring business located in Longford, Ashbourne. We have two sectors to our business Online Flooring Sales and Commercial Flooring Installations.

**Job role**:
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in our busy, growing business. You will be required to oversee all aspects of the warehouse and stock and provide a smooth running of day to day operations. The job will range from picking and packing orders to dispatch for our online sales department and also organizing and overseeing materials required for our commercial flooring team. You must have very effective organizational skills and be able to work to your own initiative, as part of a team and as an individual. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to lift and stack boxes and flooring rolls off/on to pallets and racking.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- To arrange and oversee the stock.
- Taking delivery of goods and storing them in correct bays/areas and labelling correctly.
- Checking for damaged or missing items.
- Moving stock by hand/forklift/pallet truck.
- Preparing/packing and wrapping goods to a high standard.
- Keeping accurate stock records.
- Cleaning/tidying the Warehouse.
- Measuring and checking flooring roll ends to sell.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Fork lift certificate.
- Experience in the flooring industry.

Wage will be based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£16.18 per hour
