**Shift Pattern/Working Hours**: 4 on 4 off (12 hour days / 12 hour nights)

**Salary**: £27,964 - £29,649.25 **(The more you are willing to learn the more you will earn)**

We are the UK's largest and most technically advanced PET bottle recycling plant, we play a critical role in ensuring we continue provide environmental friendly packaging solutions to our customers. We are actively seeking for 3 motivated people to join our team as an operative at our large dynamic site in Hemswell.

**Purpose of the role**:To process plastic flake through several friction washers to achieve the desired quality and operational performance standards.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure the product quality is in specification and make the required adjustments to the machine parameters when required
- Escalation of any issues which may have a negative impact on key result areas not being achieved.
- Performing and documenting hourly checks as outlined in paperwork
- Create a downtime summary report for the shift through the effective use of short interval control.
- Completion of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activity’s during Planned Maintenance (PM) slots.
- Actively engage in the shift handover / team huddle process

**What we are looking for**:

- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £26,278.75 per year
