AF Fabrications, part of the AF Switchgear Group, was established in March 2008 as a new subsidiary to AF Switchgear. Handling the design and subcontract manufacture of all the enclosures used by AF Switchgear, the established in-house design team are supported on the shop floor by state-of-the-art CNC Controlled Punch Machine & Powder Coating Paint Plant.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to recruit to a new role as a Parts Coordinator & General Operative.

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Works Supervisor, and provide additional support where required on the Punch, Laser, Press Brake, Painting / Preparation prior to paint and After Paint assembly processes, ensuring a quality product to the standard manufacture tolerances.

Specific duties will also include, but are not exclusive to:

- Adhering to health & safety guidelines
- Liaising with AF Switchgear to organise, deliver and fit lost, missed and damaged fabricated parts
- Assist with lifting within the manufacturing area
- Assist Works Supervisor and Lead Operatives, and discuss opportunities with them to increase productivity as well as advise of any concerns regarding parts/build/people/ equipment
- Effectively maintain the tidiness, safety and cleanliness of the manufacturing and car park area

The ability to use your initiative and be flexible to the demands of workload, as well as being able to work as part of a team, are key requirements for this position.

Hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.14 per hour
