**Hours: Mon-Thurs: 7am-4pm Fri: 7am-2pm**

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join a prestigious engineering company based in Blackpool. This exciting role involves working on projects in Preston, offering a competitive salary ranging from £37,500 to £41,500, depending on your expertise and experience. As a Pipe Fitter with our company, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various piping systems, contributing to the success of diverse projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform first fix copper pipework installations, ensuring accurate measurements and fittings according to specifications.
- Carry out first fix drainage pipework, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
- Install and assemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough testing of installed pipework to identify and rectify potential leaks or defects.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals, including engineers and technicians, to efficiently complete projects.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan and execute pipe installations effectively.
- Utilise various pipe-fitting tools and equipment to achieve precise and efficient results.
- Demonstrate expertise in welding and brazing techniques for secure and durable joints.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems as needed.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to create a safe work environment for all team members.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of various pipe materials, fittings, and joining methods.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to operate various pipe-fitting tools and equipment.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Pipe Fitting or a related field is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding environments.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
